Judges

Duncan Baker-Brown is an architect, academic and environmental activist. Explore his practice BakerBrown’s website for a plethora of inventive and inspiring sustainable projects. And then watch Duncan talk here about how architects and designers can develop a crucial new role in tackling the climate emergency at the AJ Awards 2019.
Miles Davidson graduated from Leeds Becket University in 2020. His fantastic project Sweeping Signal was one of the winners of last year’s National IE Awards.
Chris Twaddle is one of the directors at kennedytwaddle. Based in London and Scotland the practice designs and refurbishes buildings, new build and historic listed properties, for residential and commercial uses. Take a look at this beautiful project, which transforms an existing brick building with fan elegant pre-fabricated sculptural pavilion extension.
Architect and filmmaker Sarah Akigbogun is the founder of  Studio aki, a transdisciplinary, architecture and research practice committed to creating, socially-engaged projects. Their projects, such as the wonderful Green House, are developed through storytelling and narratives, with a focus on working with communities, people and spaces
