The Awards are sponsored by the Royal College of Art, the world’s leading art and design university, which offers MA and short course programmes in Interior Design.
The Interior Educators Summer Show returns to the Oxo Bargehouse to showcase the annual awards and an exhibition of interior design and interior architecture programmes from across the UK, which celebrates academics and students within the organisation and the amazing work they have produced in 2023.
Interior Educators (IE) is a powerful network for more than 50 institutional members; a forum in which the exchange of ideas and experience contributes to the evolution of academic practice informing the design of interior space.
Teaching practice and methodology will differ, the students’ process and practice will contrast, and through this divergence new ideas for the design, interpretation of interiors will emerge. IE demonstrates the value in academic exchange, free of professional or institutional oversight, supporting academic practice and pedagogy and advocating disciplinary excellence and intellectual rigour. Celebrating the quality of student work and research.
