BA(Hons) Interior Design
About the course
Our interiors programme has expensive links with industry which mean there are many opportunities for us to invite industry guests to give lectures, run workshops, attend critiques and reviews, and for our students to visit working sites, cutting edge interiors or visit working design studios. These links also help place interns and appoint our graduates within the industry.
Live projects, working with clients, and design studio projects all aim to give you industry ready, transferable skills which are invaluable within the industry. We have the latest industry software which is updated each year to ensure you remain current.
We actively support and encourage networking and embed self promotion within the programme so that students feel confident presenting themselves within the industry. The university also provides the opportunity for our students to host their own industry exhibitions which are always well attended and very exciting occasions to network. This can be in the form of an ad hoc shows within design modules to give you the experience of presenting work professionally or the Free Range exhibition in London.
Small student numbers mean that one to one time with lecturers and technicians is increased offering you constant opportunities to discuss ideas and gain valuable feedback helping you develop skills and innovation quickly.
Our university ERASMUS programme enables students to study in Europe and we offer international study trips to trade shows and events.
